1st U.S. HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION

The 1st U.S. HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION offered U.S. manufacturers and U.S.-based subsidiaries of non-United States-based companies manufacturing and distributing products that serve the medical, pharmaceutical, hospital, rehabilitation, dental, and eyecare sectors the opportunity to present their products and services to the Cuban healthcare community which serves a population of some 11 million citizens.

Products accepted for presentation at the 1st U.S. HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION included: medical and pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices and instruments, medical supplies, medicines, medicated products, pharmaceuticals, hospital equipment, disposable products, laboratory equipment, ambulances and medivac equipment, physical therapy equipment, training programs, dental and eyecare equipment, informational materials (including videos, publications and books, etc.) as well as all types of pre-owned medical and healthcare equipment and products.

More than 8,000 Cuban healthcare professionals visited the 1st U.S. Healthcare Exhibition including physicians, hospital and clinic administrators, nurse practitioners, laboratory diagnosticians, and researchers. The event was held in cooperation with the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (and MediCuba, the official government purchasing arm), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.
